The Memphis Motorcycle Club is a family orientated group of avid motorcyclists with varied interests and occupations, but with one thing in common, motorcycles. MMC members are involved in many phases of the sport. Our membership rolls have included street riders, dirt riders, amateur and professional racers, nationally ranked experts and even a few people of questionable riding ability. We currently have 173 members.

The only requirements for joining MMC are that you love motorcycles, have an honest interest in the people who ride them, and be a member of the American Motorcyclist Association. Our club is one of some 2,500 chartered AMA clubs across the USA. The AMA is a race sanctioning body as well as a membership services organization, governing all aspects of the sport. We are all concerned with the pressing problems such as land closure, the public image of cyclists, and any legislation concerning motorcycles.

We also like to have a good time, but not at the expense of others. This basic idea works because the MMC has been active since 1928 and has seen a lot of changes over 7 decades. We put on dirt bike events, kids races, street rides, camping trips, organized trail rides and our annual charity event has become the pride of our club. We raised $5000 for the Make a Wish Foundation this fall, and were able to give a child his/her wish. The MMC stands for all the AMA stands for but on a more personal basis. We believe you will find organized cycling more fun and isn't that what it's all about?

In order to join the MMC you must:
1. Own a motorcycle or four-wheeler
2. Be willing to help the club put on events
3. Be voted in by the majority of current active members

The membership process is as follows:
You need to attend one of our monthly meetings in order to be nominated by one of our current members. Once you are nominated,  you will need to be voted in by the majority of active members at the meeting.  Once you are voted in you will be given an application for membership which will need to be completed and turned in with your dues.

Dues: $75.00 Individual $100.00 Family

If you are interested in joining the MMC, our regular meetings are the second Tuesday of each month at Coletta's Restaurant on Appling Road in Cordova, TN at 7:00 P.M. If you have any questions, contact our president at: president@memphismotorcycleclub.com
